Terms of Service
Last updated: September 21, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Poetry in Motion, an online movement-membership service operated by Sind Studios (“Sind Studios”, “Poetry in Motion”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By creating an identity, subscribing, accessing the member library, or participating in a class, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service or participate in its movement content.
1. Important health and safety information
Poetry in Motion provides general fitness and movement education. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, or a substitute for a consultation with a qualified health professional.
You are responsible for deciding whether a class is appropriate for you. Consult a qualified health professional before beginning or changing exercise if you have a health condition, injury, are pregnant or postpartum, take medication that may affect safe participation, or have any concern about participating.
Choose a clear and safe space, use equipment only as instructed, follow modifications, and stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, faintness, chest discomfort, shortness of breath, or another warning sign. Seek urgent medical care when appropriate.
2. Assumption of risk and release
Movement, exercise, breathwork, use of equipment, and following an on-demand video involve inherent and other risks that cannot be eliminated, including injury, illness, death, or property damage. You voluntarily choose to participate and assume all risks arising from that participation, including risks caused by your environment, equipment, physical condition, or failure to follow instructions or modifications.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release, waive, discharge, and agree not to bring a claim against Sind Studios, Poetry in Motion, the instructor, and each of their owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns for claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, or liabilities arising from your participation in the service, including claims based on ordinary negligence.
This release does not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. It does not replace any separate, conspicuous waiver that we ask you to accept before a purchase or participation.
3. Membership, payment, and cancellation
A membership gives one person a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access the member library while their entitlement is active. You must keep your email access secure and must not share your sign-in code or membership.
Subscription price, currency, billing cadence, and any founding-price terms are displayed before payment. Paid memberships renew automatically at the stated cadence unless you cancel before the next renewal. You can manage or cancel an eligible subscription through the Stripe customer portal linked from your membership page.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. Cancellation normally stops a future renewal while access continues through the paid period. Refunds, cancellation rights, and renewal terms remain subject to applicable consumer law and any specific offer terms shown before you pay.
4. Your use of the service
Do not copy, download, record, redistribute, publicly perform, sell, sublicense, scrape, or otherwise misuse the videos, written material, trademarks, or other content unless we give you written permission or the law permits it. Do not interfere with the service, attempt to access another person's identity, or bypass access controls.
We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these Terms, fraud, misuse, or a security risk. We will not do so in a way that removes rights you have under applicable law.
5. Availability and third parties
We may update, remove, or add classes and features. We aim to keep the service available, but internet connections, devices, and third-party services can fail, so uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
Payments, identity services, email delivery, hosting, and video playback are provided in part through third parties. Their services and any linked websites are governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
6. Changes and legal rights
We may change these Terms when needed for legal, security, operational, or service changes. A material change will be posted here with a revised date and, where required, communicated before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after an effective change means you accept the revised Terms, except where a different form of consent is required by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without limiting any mandatory consumer-protection right that applies to you. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally may be brought in the courts of British Columbia, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
